Communication in an international department is not always easy, especially when there are people from different cultures working there. This was also a challenge for our department at ČSOB, in our international team, where we have colleagues from Belgium, Hungary and the Czech Republic. To improve communication and cooperation between the teams, we decided to organize a workshop on Czech-Hungarian-Belgian cooperation in practice, which was prepared and led by two great teachers and experts in this field - Jana Bilíková and Václav Wortner from Restartup. The whole workshop was well prepared, divided into several days so that we could deal with each culture separately. It gave us all a completely new perspective on our collaboration with our colleagues and helped us to better understand and learn to respect the behaviours that are typical for each nation. It was a great experience that has definitely moved us forward. A big thank you to Jane and Václav for their great preparation and leadership throughout the workshop.

Almost three years ago, when we were selecting a provider for the development of our middle management, Restartup was the only company among the candidates that met our expectations of doing things differently. We organize 5–6 training sessions annually with Restartup for young political leaders in Slovakia. The overwhelmingly positive participant feedback and measurable results in elections prove that these training sessions provide essential tools for success in politics. We particularly appreciate that Restartup’s women-led team, under the leadership of Veronika Panáková and Anežka Karľa, has developed a unique training curriculum specifically for female politicians. Thanks to Restartup’s innovative and open approach, we are empowering young leaders and giving them the education they need to succeed in politics and public life.

When we began our collaboration with Restartup, we had no idea how essential and impactful it would be for our transformation at Clarios Slovakia. Looking back after a year, I can see the remarkable progress our leadership team has made—progress I wouldn’t have believed possible a year ago.
